Investment Banking Associate | Southern Region Coverage - Dallas (Investment Banking)

What you will do

• Provide investment banking coverage and execution for clients across the Southern Region, including Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.
• Execute buy-side and sell-side M&A, debt and equity financings, and other strategic advisory engagements.
• Develop financial models and perform customized company valuation analyses.
• Manage and coordinate M&A and financing transactions with senior bankers, product groups, and regional or global teams.
• Prepare client presentations explaining industry trends, assessing situations, and recommending strategies to meet client goals.
• Work across consumer and retail, industrials, natural resources, and technology, media, and telecommunications coverage areas.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1+ years of investment banking experience at the Associate or Analyst level.
• Experience with client coverage and execution of M&A and capital raising transactions is required.
• Experience with corporate finance and valuation analyses, including DCF, LBO, merger modeling, accretion/dilution, WACC, ROIC, and other financial analyses, is required.
• History of outstanding academic and professional achievement.
• Strong team orientation and ability to work effectively with team members across multiple groups or regions.
