Financial Analyst - Compensation Valuation (Nashville)

Location: Nashville, TN; hybrid with 4 days in the office and minimal travel.

What you will do

• Gather financial statements, operational reports, industry research, market research, and other information required for client engagements.
• Construct and own complex financial models and perform financial analyses for compensation valuation projects.
• Conduct due diligence, write reports, and review work for accuracy and quality.
• Participate in client or project meetings and site visits as needed.
• Track project deliverables against client timelines, communicate progress, and escalate risks to project leaders.
• Contribute to internal and external articles and presentations while completing administrative and mandatory training responsibilities.

Requirements

• Pursuing or completed a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, and/or economics.
• Strong knowledge of financial theory and/or economics, with financial modeling experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced experience in Excel and strong knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to written, oral, or diagram-based instructions and address problems involving multiple factors.
• Willingness to pursue continuing education and professional certifications such as CFA, NACVA, ASA, or CPA.
• Flexibility and adaptability in work schedule and assignments based on departmental and company needs.
