Service Desk Technician (Windows/Office 365)

What you will do

• Provide Tier 1/2 hardware and software support for users in a Windows 11 and Office 365 environment.
• Install, image, re-image, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain desktops, laptops, Microsoft Surface Pro devices, printers, and multifunction devices.
• Create, update, document, and resolve tickets in the Army Enterprise Service Management Platform and ServiceNow.
• Support multiple government network domains, including classified and unclassified systems, and troubleshoot third-party applications in secure networks.
• Provide immediate support for VIPs and mission-critical systems throughout Carlisle Barracks.
• Assist with OEM warranty support and sensitive equipment disposal, including hard-drive sanitization.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of Tier 1/2 desktop support experience or equivalent training and experience.
• Required troubleshooting, customer service, and very good communication skills.
• A+ or Network+ certification required for hire.
• Secret Security Clearance or higher required.
• High school diploma and computer technician training covering installation and repair.
• Ability to use remote-access tools and troubleshoot with minimal guidance.
• Ability to handle several concrete variables in standardized situations and act under time constraints.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted and up to 150 pounds with assistance.

Nice to have

• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
