Project Manager (Implementation)

What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of client implementation projects from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop project plans covering scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resources, and risks.
• Act as the primary client contact, manage expectations, lead project meetings, and provide accurate status reporting.
• Coordinate technical teams, payroll specialists, third-party vendors, and other internal and external resources.
• Track and resolve issues and risks, escalating where necessary to senior management.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews, capture lessons learned, and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• Proven Project Manager experience, specifically in software implementation; experience in HR, payroll, or financial technology is preferred.
• Demonstrable experience managing complex client-facing projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, including Waterfall, Agile, or PRINCE2.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines proactively.
• Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project, Asana, or Jira, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with global payroll or payments solutions.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
