Space Project Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Nigrán, Pontevedra, Spain; hybrid work with a percentage of remote work to be defined with the manager.

hirify.global is expanding its Alén Space team to develop and coordinate space technology projects.

What you will do

• Manage multiple technical projects, planning activities and monitoring progress.
• Identify project risks and potential development obstacles.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, tracking action items, resolving issues, and negotiating scope changes.
• Coordinate client meetings, milestone reviews, and multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Track project costs, time, deliverables, and deadlines against project plans and internal processes.
• Communicate project metrics, risks, and deviations to the operations team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or another technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience managing technical projects.
• Strong communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts to international clients and stakeholders.
• Proactive problem-solving approach and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent English communication skills at C1 equivalent level.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of PMI and agile methodologies.
• Academic background in engineering.
• Experience with aerospace projects applying ECSS management standards.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and similar quality standards.
• Experience in team management and working with technical requirements.
