ASIC Design CAD Engineer

What you will do

• Develop and implement design automation tools and scripts for next-generation autonomous vehicle EYQ chips.
• Perform logic design flows from high-level design through synthesis and power analysis.
• Evaluate automation technologies, advocate for efficiency improvements, and assess vendor solutions against design needs.
• Support a large number of design engineers with high-quality tools, flows, documentation, and presentations.

Requirements

• BSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in the field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and C.
• Knowledge of logic design.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, and self-motivation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++, Perl, CSH, Bash, TCL, Makefiles, and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with automation using vendor APIs.
• Experience with front-end tools including RTL simulation, lint, and CDC.
• Experience with power methodologies and third-party power EDA tools.
• Understanding of timing, area, complexity, and power trade-offs.
• Familiarity with Linux, RTL design processes and flows, synthesis, and backend STA closure.
