What you will do

• Provide visible site leadership and oversee Power and Energization activities.
• Partner with Environmental, Health, and Safety teams to control hazardous energy and drive operational excellence.
• Review safety documentation and conduct audits to verify safe conditions and practices.
• Support electrical infrastructure management across the data center campus.
• Train employees on defined Energy Isolation processes and procedures.
• Coordinate with construction and commissioning teams to safely test and validate MEP system installation, operation, and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent engineering science discipline.
• Demonstrated construction management experience on large, complex projects with substantial mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ideally in hyperscale data centers or other critical infrastructure.
• Experience with MV switching, construction and commissioning standards and practices, including life-saving system engineering principles.
• Extensive experience as a Senior Authorized Person managing electrical distribution and switching activities.
• Understanding of electrical engineering principles, including breaker coordination studies, switchgear sequences of operation, and local electrical codes.
• Familiarity with CSA and mechanical engineering principles for cooling systems, including applicable statutory compliance.
• Strong general contractor and vendor management experience, including RFPs, bidding processes, and change orders during construction and execution.
• Experience working on international projects and awareness of cultural diversity and inclusivity considerations in large-scale program delivery.
