Engineering Manager (Electrical Transmission)

Location: Must be based in one of the Scottish locations and spend 50% of the working week in the office: Inverness, Perth, Aberdeen or Glasgow.

Salary: £59,800–£102,100 plus car/cash allowance, performance-related bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams across major transmission infrastructure projects.
• Guide projects through development, design, construction, commissioning and asset handover.
• Deliver innovative, value-adding engineering solutions across a diverse and technically complex project portfolio.
• Support the delivery of a reliable electricity network and infrastructure for a net-zero energy system.

Requirements

• Engineering leadership experience suitable for an Assistant Engineering Manager or Engineering Manager position.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Capability to contribute across the development, design, construction, commissioning and handover of infrastructure assets.
• Ability to be based in one of the specified Scottish locations and work in the office 50% of the week.
