Business Analysis, Analyst (Financial Management)

Location: On-site in Charleston, South Carolina; schedule may change based on company or contract requirements. No travel.

Salary: $70,000–$83,000 per year.

What you will do

• Analyze complex financial and operational processes for Post Support Services and document findings for management and other locations.
• Identify opportunities for process streamlining, standardization, productivity, and accuracy through business process reengineering.
• Collect user requirements, assess operational impacts, and support implementation, testing, and change communication for overseas financial and logistics management systems.
• Resolve complex financial management system problems, provide technical guidance, and support functional understanding of system changes.
• Provide project management support, including planning, requirements documentation, risk assessment, milestone tracking, and results communication.
• Administer post-level databases, use data analytics and business intelligence tools, and support CGFS ISO-9001 activities.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, process improvement, root cause analysis, requirements gathering, internal control development, and change management.
• Excellent experience with Microsoft Office, MS365, MS Power Platform, and Power BI.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in financial management, business administration, or a combination of related coursework and work experience.
• Ability to obtain a MRPT (Public Trust) clearance issued by the Department of State; the process considers criminal and financial background aspects.
• Self-starter with initiative to identify problems and recommend solutions.
• Ability to work independently and balance competing priorities while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Department of State financial management experience, including work with overseas diplomatic posts.
• Experience with CGI Federal Momentum applications.
• Experience with ISO-9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience analyzing automated financial management systems, preferably those supporting the Department of State.
