Business Process Analyst

Location: Remote, Virginia, United States

Salary: $110,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Document current-state workflows, identify inefficiencies, and support process redesign for assigned business areas.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops, and write user stories, functional requirements, and process documentation.
• Identify automation candidates, test automated workflows, and work with developers to validate business requirements.
• Support system configuration, testing, user acceptance testing, and documentation during rollouts.
• Create BPMN process maps and requirement traceability matrices.
• Answer business-user questions and help facilitate training and adoption of new tools and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in business analysis or process improvement.
• Working knowledge of BPMN or similar process modeling tools.
• Exposure to automation platforms such as Power Automate, UiPath, Camunda, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Ability to work under supervision on defined projects and escalate ambiguous or cross-functional issues to senior staff.

Nice to have

• Entry-level certification such as ECBA or CCBA, or progress toward CBAP.
• Basic SQL or reporting skills.
