Senior Client Success Manager (Clean Energy)

Location: Remote - United States; other location: Brooklyn, New York.

Base salary: $110,000–$135,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Own a portfolio of complex, high-impact utility client programs and build relationships with stakeholders through executive level.
• Lead program launches, guide program design and evolution, and drive long-term account health, renewals, and expansions.
• Act as a strategic advisor on client objectives, regulatory context, growth targets, and program outcomes.
• Resolve escalations and operational challenges, anticipate cross-program risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation plans.
• Analyze and present performance data, lead executive business reviews, facilitate meetings, and communicate technical recommendations.
• Bring client insights to Product and Engineering, train client program teams, and mentor Client Success Managers while improving playbooks and tools.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of professional experience in customer success, account management, or technology services, preferably in SaaS or enterprise software.
• Proven experience owning and growing strategic or enterprise client accounts, including renewals and expansions.
• Excellent communication skills, including explaining complex technical topics to stakeholders at all levels and executives.
• Strong program or project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives, deadlines, risks, and dependencies.
• Analytical, creative, and curious approach with confidence working with numbers, data, and spreadsheets.
• Ability to navigate escalations and difficult conversations while preserving trust.
• Strong business judgment, independent working style, and experience collaborating with and influencing cross-functional teams.
• Experience in or with renewable energy, utilities, grid services, or adjacent cleantech/greentech industries is preferred; experience mentoring or coaching peers is a plus.
• BS or BA degree.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with EVs, batteries, connected devices, IoT, or building automation.
• Familiarity with Virtual Power Plant programs and initiatives.
• Certifications in energy management, project management, or program management.
