AI Developer Intern (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with three days per week in-office at the HQ in Shakopee, Minnesota, United States, or fully remote in Germany. No relocation.

Salary: $23–$26 per hour.

What you will do

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify needs and opportunities for AI-driven solutions.
• Develop, deploy, optimize, and document AI applications, scripts, and code.
• Create GraphQL backend scripts and maintain code that accelerates development and testing.
• Design single-agent and multi-agent AI workflows and evaluation processes for production-quality standards.
• Develop automated testing frameworks based on agent vision modules.
• Collaborate with Solution and UX Architects to deliver intelligent, user-friendly experiences.

Requirements

• Be a junior or senior student by December 2025 with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Pursue a BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Have experience with development frameworks such as Vue.js, React, and Node.js.
• Understand key AI frameworks and be able to adapt them to business problems.
• Be familiar with LLMs, prompt engineering, context engineering, and fine-tuning.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, deadline orientation, self-direction, and strong written and verbal communication.
• Work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Nice to have

• At least one completed front-end project using Vue.js or React, with a demonstration available.
• At least one completed smart application project, with a demonstration available.
• Familiarity with cloud DevOps, MLOps, or AIOps.
