AI Engineer Intern

Location: Mountain View, California; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; or Seattle, Washington, United States. Remote is listed, but employees are expected to work from the office at least 3 days per week.

Salary: $52.00 per hour in Mountain View or Seattle, or $47.00 per hour in Pittsburgh, for interns pursuing a bachelor's degree.

What you will do

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and operations specialists to identify pain points in existing processes and workflows.
• Implement AI agents and evaluations on hirify.global’s AI Platform.
• Address operational and development challenges through AI-powered tools.
• Generalize learnings from agent implementations to accelerate the development of AI tools across hirify.global.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Experience with modern programming languages such as Python and C++.
• Experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or OpenCode.
• Foundational understanding of Agentic AI principles and concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with agentic frameworks such as LangGraph, DeepAgents, or Claude Agent SDK.
• Experience with agentic evaluation platforms and frameworks such as LangSmith and Harbor.
• Experience in project or program management.
