Cloud Specialist (Telco Cloud)

Location: Rome, Lazio, Italy; onsite role.

Starting salary: €29,100 + PDR; the final offer depends on skills, experience, potential, and position benchmarking.

What you will do

• Maintain hirify.global’s critical Telco Cloud environment.
• Perform troubleshooting and fault handling, implement temporary workarounds and permanent corrective actions, and coordinate with hardware and software vendors.
• Run daily monitoring and system health checks, implement automated incident detection, and optimize monitoring.
• Contribute to new projects, solution delivery acceptance, process and work-instruction improvements, and configuration-change verification.
• Collaborate with customer technical staff, NOC engineers, operations managers, and other Service Delivery groups.

Requirements

• General knowledge of Telco Cloud and CaaS, PaaS, and IaaS technologies.
• Knowledge of compute, storage, SANs, networks, and their maintenance.
• Knowledge of containerized functions and Kubernetes cluster management.
• Knowledge of automation and scripting/programming tools including Ansible, Git, Python, and Grafana.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, solve problems, learn new technologies and methodologies, and perform under stressful or emergency conditions.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Red Hat Linux, OpenShift, and VMware.
• Experience in an enterprise environment involving problem solving, troubleshooting, and analysis processes.
