Azure Infrastructure Engineer (Azure)

Location: Hybrid from an office in Milan, Florence, or Verona, Italy; 100% remote is also offered.

Salary: €28,000–€38,000, with exceptional profiles potentially considered for a salary review.

What you will do

• Design and deploy primarily Azure cloud infrastructures supporting AI and data technology teams.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code scripts and templates with Terraform, Bicep, ARM, AWS CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager.
• Automate provisioning and infrastructure management with Ansible and scripts.
• Evaluate and optimize cloud architectures for performance, cost, reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Implement GitOps processes and configure CI/CD pipelines for reliable infrastructure and data-platform deployments.
• Stay current with cloud-service best practices and technological advances.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent training; alternatively, higher vocational training in Systems Administration or Application Development.
• More than 2 years of experience in data integration and processing projects, including the design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructures and Python development.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP cloud environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM, and with CI/CD for deploying and maintaining pipelines and data platforms.
• Experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration for scalable and resilient data infrastructures.
• English communication skills required for collaboration in global environments and with international teams.
