Test Module Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Own and optimize high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes to meet production efficiency, quality, cost, productivity, and yield goals.
• Conduct tests and measurements for critical dimensions, minimize defectivity, and resolve discrepant materials or activities.
• Implement improvements to manufacturing techniques, operational efficiency, output performance, and excursion prevention systems.
• Support capacity expansion, equipment installation, conversion, maintenance, repair, and qualification during factory ramps.
• Facilitate global technology transfers, matched processing, training, and audits across manufacturing sites.
• Collaborate with equipment suppliers and cross-functional teams to align process development with manufacturing readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, with 0–1 years of hands-on experience from internships, academic projects, coursework, or training; alternatively, a relevant Master’s degree with no prior professional experience.
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data-driven problem-solving methodologies.
• Technical expertise in mechanical design, electrical circuitry, and software tools such as JMP or SQL Pathfinder.
• Experience with equipment management, maintenance, and process improvement techniques.
• Familiarity with cleanroom environments and proper PPE use.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of semiconductor assembly equipment and processes.
• Familiarity with design of experiments (DOE), failure modes/effects analysis (FMEA), and process optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with SQL Pathfinder or Power BI.
• Ability to manage multiple operations, adapt to changing priorities, collaborate across teams, and drive initiatives independently.
