Production Supervisor II (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru, Malaysia; onsite production role requiring work in three rotating shifts.

What you will do

• Lead production teams and supervise daily operations to meet output, quality, efficiency, and safety targets.
• Oversee production equipment operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination of tool-related activities.
• Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, and Logistics to align materials, resources, and production schedules.
• Maintain production records, prepare daily and weekly performance reports, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
• Optimize workflows, manpower allocation, production schedules, and waste reduction through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach and mentor production operators, manage performance assessments, track certifications, and support effective multitasking.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar supervisory role, ideally in semiconductor or related high-tech manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, cleanroom protocols, production scheduling, and quality control measures.
• Experience with semiconductor fabrication equipment and automated production systems, including tool maintenance and calibration.
• Knowledge of SPC and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, production tracking software, and MS Office for reporting and data analysis.
• Demonstrated team leadership, conflict resolution, and performance management experience.
• Ability to work in three rotating shifts.
• Willingness to work in Pasir Gudang.
• High level of discipline and commitment to the role.
