MP Ramp & Conversion Senior Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing ramp-up activities from qualification through mass production, monitoring output, yield, quality, cycle time, production readiness, and ramp risks.
• Lead product conversion, package migration, technology transfer, and cross-site or cross-factory implementation projects.
• Develop conversion plans, qualification requirements, risk assessments, and production-release readiness reviews covering processes, equipment, quality, and manufacturing.
• Monitor yield and quality performance, lead root cause analysis and corrective actions, and accelerate yield learning and stabilization with process owners.
• Manage project schedules, milestones, deliverables, reviews, status reporting, stakeholder communication, issue resolution, and escalations across Operations, Planning, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Customer teams.
• Support capacity expansion, equipment and resource readiness, lessons learned, best-practice sharing, ramp-efficiency improvements, and digitalization or data analytics initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials Science, or an equivalent field.
• At least 5–8 years of semiconductor manufacturing or process engineering experience.
• Proven experience with production ramp-up, product transfer, technology conversion, or New Product Introduction projects.
• Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Knowledge of New Product Introduction, manufacturing ramp management, product conversion and technology transfer, semiconductor assembly process flow, yield analysis and improvement, risk assessment and mitigation, process qualification and validation, change management, and statistical data analysis.
• Experience with advanced Excel, JMP, Minitab, Power BI, or equivalent analytical tools.
• Knowledge of data-driven decision-making, 8D, DMAIC, 5 Why, Fishbone, cost improvement, and productivity improvement analysis.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of quality systems including IATF16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and Control Plan.
