Software Engineer (C#)

Location: On-site in Corsham, Wiltshire, United Kingdom (SN13); occasional travel within and outside the UK may be required.

Salary: £35,000–£50,000 per year.

What you will do

• Maintain and enhance mission-critical planning software in Windows and Red Hat Linux environments.
• Analyse requirements and document changes to define the scope of work items.
• Design, develop, test, review, and maintain software applications and supporting documentation.
• Contribute technical expertise and domain knowledge in meetings and work groups.
• Collaborate with customers and colleagues, communicate technical matters effectively, and suggest continuous improvements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in C# development or another programming language.
• Strong software design skills, including object-oriented programming, and good understanding of computing fundamentals such as logic and data structures.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of Visual Studio and Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to build complex or efficient software solutions, solve challenging engineering problems, and learn new technologies and languages.
• Must be eligible to work and live in the UK.
• Must be eligible to undergo and maintain appropriate UK government Developed Vetting security clearance.
