What you will do

• Develop and maintain business-critical applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework Core.
• Design, build, and support distributed APIs and multi-tier integrations across client systems.
• Modernise and re-platform legacy applications using N-Tier, MVC, event-driven, and microservices architectures where appropriate.
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Azure DevOps, supporting releases, deployments, and formal change management.
• Apply unit testing and TDD practices, including xUnit, NUnit, and Moq, to improve reliability and maintainability.
• Deliver solutions with Microsoft Azure services, create client-focused documentation, mentor colleagues, conduct peer reviews, and support governed adoption of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.

Requirements

• Current .NET/C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core development experience.
• JavaScript and SQL experience, with MS SQL Server preferred.
• Experience with Entity Framework or similar ORM tools and with data transformation and integration, including data service extracts and reports.
• CI/CD experience with tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with manual deployment using IIS Manager.
• Awareness of the wider Microsoft technology stack and exposure to, or strong interest in, Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub version control, Azure Repos, and Azure DevOps.

Nice to have

• Unit testing and TDD experience with xUnit, NUnit, or similar tools.
• Experience with formal change and incident management processes such as ITIL.
• Exposure to modern architecture patterns including microservices, event-driven, and clean architecture.
• Interest in AI-assisted development tooling and governance.
