Project Manager – LATAM (Spanish-Speaking)

Location: Colombia; LATAM Region, remote/hybrid

What you will do

• Lead concurrent software and data science projects from initiation through delivery, coordinating technical teams and external clients.
• Run client demos, workshops, steering committees, and other meetings while communicating progress, risks, and decisions to senior stakeholders.
• Own project scope, budgets, timelines, resources, and change management.
• Identify and mitigate risks and ensure outcomes align with business goals and measurable value.
• Facilitate stand-ups, refinements, retrospectives, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Provide consultative guidance and work with the Product team to align solutions with client goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
• Fluent Spanish is mandatory.
• One or more certifications: PMP, CSM, PSM, CSPO, or KMP.
• 5+ years of experience managing software development projects using Agile/Scrum and Waterfall.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Experience with JIRA and other project-management tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

Nice to have

• Background as a Software Engineer or Data Scientist.
• Experience managing Data Science projects and understanding the Data Science Life Cycle.
• Proven success leading discovery workshops and project kick-offs.
