Business Operations Lead (AI)

Location: New York City; must be able to work in-office 3–4 days per week

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.

hirify.global is modernizing U.S. B2B card payments infrastructure for commercial fleets through its hirify.global Fleet and Fuel Card and spend management platform.

What you will do

• Lead high-priority cross-functional projects from scoping through launch, including planning, ownership, milestones, risk management, executive updates, and final handoff.
• Manage and coach the Business Operations Associate and build repeatable templates, cadences, and playbooks.
• Coordinate with Product, Sales, Finance, Risk, Legal, People, and Operations to translate priorities into executable work.
• Support quarterly planning, goal tracking, operating reviews, metrics check-ins, and prioritization decisions.
• Scope new processes, partnerships, and initiatives; build analyses and decision frameworks; and take pilots through implementation.
• Use AI for planning, synthesis, analysis, drafting, and reporting; lead AI initiatives, evaluate tools, measure results, and share effective workflows.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience in business operations, strategy and operations, program or project management, consulting, or a similar role; fintech, SaaS, or financial services experience is preferred.
• Proven experience leading complex cross-functional projects with many stakeholders, including at least one major initiative taken from idea to launch.
• Experience managing or mentoring others, ideally including direct management of an early-career team member.
• Strong executive presence, including concise senior-leader briefings, recommendation-based pushback, and alignment-oriented writing.
• AI-native mindset: daily use of AI tools and experience building a workflow, automation, agent, or prompt library.
• Strong structured thinking, analytical skills, and comfort with data, spreadsheets, trend analysis, and recommendations; SQL and low-code tools are a plus.
• High ownership, ability to influence without authority, and comfort working with people at every level.
• Organized and process-driven, with the ability to run multiple high-stakes projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience; experience at a Series B or growth-stage startup is preferred.
