Senior IT Project Manager - Financial Services Regulatory

What you will do

• Manage IT projects independently from initiation and planning through delivery and closure.
• Lead regulatory-driven transformation initiatives in the financial services sector.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify requirements and achieve project goals.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation measures, and ensure adherence to budgets and quality standards.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary project teams and ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Prepare management status reports and present project results.

Requirements

• At least 5–7 years of experience in IT project management, ideally in an international environment.
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Extensive experience in IT project or program management within financial services.
• Strong experience with regulatory-driven initiatives, including compliance, reporting, or transformations.
• Proven track record managing large, complex, multi-stakeholder delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of banking platforms, such as hirify.global or similar core banking systems.
• Strong knowledge of project governance, risk management, and delivery methodologies including Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and C-level management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and escalation management skills.
• Full professional fluency in German.
