Senior Specialist, Indirect Site Services Procurement (Biotech)

Location: Hybrid role based at the De Soto, Kansas preferred site or the Millsboro, Delaware site, with three days on-site and two days working from home. Additional supported manufacturing sites include Elkhorn, Nebraska; Ames, Iowa; Worthington, Minnesota; and Millsboro, Delaware. US, Canada, and Puerto Rico residents only. No relocation.

Salary: $96,200–$151,400 annually for the primary location; annual bonus and long-term incentive may also apply.

What you will do

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for indirect services supporting multiple manufacturing sites.
• Manage stakeholder requirements, engagement meetings, supplier relationships, and routine business reviews.
• Lead RFI and RFP processes, proposal evaluations, negotiations, and contract implementation.
• Monitor and improve supplier performance using OTIF metrics, supplier matrices, and performance reporting.
• Identify cost-reduction and working-capital opportunities while supporting category metrics and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with business representatives, Legal, site teams, regional teams, and global category teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least three years of procurement experience within Life Sciences or related industry environments.
• Experience with multi-site sourcing of indirect services, including gases, electrical and mechanical site services, production equipment maintenance, and calibration services.
• Strategic sourcing, negotiation, and commercial skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work to an agreed schedule.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and self-motivated approach.
• Valid driving license required; travel requirements are 25%.

• Additional purchasing qualification such as CPM or CIPS.
