Senior Manager - Global Indirect Procurement (Healthcare)

Location: Libertyville, Illinois, United States; onsite requirement of 4 days in the office weekly. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Base pay: $160,000–$180,000 yearly.

What you will do

• Lead the Global Indirect Procurement function and develop category strategies across Travel, Human Resources, Sales & Marketing, Facilities, Professional Services, and Corporate Services.
• Lead, coach, and develop procurement professionals, including performance management, succession planning, and resource prioritization.
• Drive complex sourcing initiatives, negotiations, contract management, supplier selection, and supplier agreement implementation.
• Establish supplier governance, monitor performance through scorecards and KPIs, resolve issues, and lead corrective and improvement initiatives.
• Partner with business leaders on procurement strategy, market intelligence, analytics, compliance, and commercial decisions.
• Deliver savings, cost avoidance, risk mitigation, business continuity, procurement controls, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8–12 years of related experience.
• 10+ years in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or operations.
• 5+ years of sourcing and supplier management experience.
• 3+ years managing third-party or contract manufacturing relationships.
• 5+ years leading and developing procurement or supply chain teams.
• Experience supporting S&OP / S&OE and cross-functional supply planning processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively through email, phone, and virtual platforms, collaborate across departments, manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and align initiatives with business strategy.
