Sales Instructional Designer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States, except California; occasional onsite interview or in-person onboarding may be required. Travel: 10%.

What you will do

• Design and develop e-learning modules, instructor-led workshops, simulations, job aids, and other training materials for sales roles, products, and methodologies.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, sales leaders, and Sales Education colleagues to convert complex sales strategies, technologies, and product features into learner-focused content.
• Use AI tools for course planning, scripting, scenario generation, and rapid content development.
• Create case studies, role-playing exercises, simulations, and assessments that evaluate comprehension and practical skill application.
• Publish and maintain content in the LMS and sales enablement platforms, including Seismic Learning, while ensuring functionality and quality.
• Develop short-form just-in-time learning content under three minutes, measure training effectiveness, and refine materials using performance metrics and feedback.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in instructional design or curriculum development within a corporate or sales environment.
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring platforms such as Articulate 360, Rise, or Captivate.
• Proficiency with learning technology platforms such as an LMS and Seismic Learning.

Nice to have

• Experience using Seismic Learning to design, build, and maintain sales training curricula.
• Ability to use generative AI for scripting, outlining, and learning asset creation.
• Technical writing, scriptwriting, storytelling, consulting, stakeholder management, collaboration, project management, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with sales processes, financial technology or banking, and B2B sales enablement.
• Analytical skills and knowledge of learning measurement and assessment, including interpreting performance data and improving knowledge transfer and skill application.
• Knowledge of instructional design models such as ADDIE and Bloom's Taxonomy, plus adult learning principles.
• Ability to mentor less experienced team members and promote instructional design best practices.
