Instructional Designer - Learning and Development Consultant

Location: Birmingham, Manchester or Marlow; hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

What you will do

• Design, build and refine learning content for sales and sales management capability programmes.
• Turn academy plans, learning briefs and subject matter input into practical, outcome-focused learning assets.
• Create static and interactive documents, including PDFs, guides and presentations.
• Produce user-generated videos, screen-recorded instructional how-to videos and AI-generated videos using Synthesia.
• Build AI scenario practice, including scoping, prompting and development.
• Design in-person and virtual workshops, including action learning sets.

Requirements

• Strong instructional design experience and the ability to create clear, practical and outcome-focused learning.
• Experience turning learning briefs, stakeholder input or subject matter expert content into high-quality learning assets.
• Experience building learning content and resources for structured academies, learning pathways or capability programmes.
• Confidence creating guides, presentations, e-learning, videos and workshop materials.
• Experience using digital learning tools such as Articulate, Synthesia and screen recording software or similar.
• Experience creating e-learning and instructional videos.
