Frontend Software Engineer (Fintech)

Location: London or Porto, with office attendance 2 days a week

What you will do

• Build and maintain React and TypeScript components, features, shared UI packages, and application-shell functionality with support from senior engineers.
• Implement the design system in code and help deliver consistent customer experiences across the product.
• Contribute to migrations from AntD to Base UI and adoption of Zustand, React Hook Form, and Zod.
• Write unit, integration, and visual tests; investigate bugs and production issues.
• Participate in refinement and planning, provide technical input, and take ownership of features over time.
• Experiment with AI tools in daily development and share useful practices with the team.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, or modern JavaScript through professional work, side projects, or self-study.
• Solid engineering fundamentals from a current role in any technology stack.
• Genuine interest in web development and building good user experiences.
• Good testing habits or willingness to develop them.
• Experience working in an Agile team.
• Curiosity, willingness to ask questions, and ability to learn new technologies.
• Proactive, supportive, and collaborative working style.
