Design Engineer (React)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid, based in the Shoreditch office Tuesday to Thursday. Candidates must be based in the specified location.

hirify.global provides modular payments infrastructure that helps companies build their own payments stack while reducing PCI compliance work, fraud, chargebacks, and payment costs.

What you will do

• Take complex UI challenges from concept through high-quality, production-ready implementation.
• Design striking brand materials, creative websites, and product landing pages.
• Work with content and marketing on visuals that communicate product value.
• Maintain consistent design across hirify.global’s products.
• Contribute to new products through zero-to-one design thinking and improve existing experiences.

Requirements

• 3+ years of product design or related experience.
• Ability to write production front-end code in React.
• A sharp eye for detail and a preference for pixel-perfect implementation.
• A portfolio showing work that you have both designed and built.
• Willingness to ship production code and own design thinking rather than only designing or coding from finished designs.
• Comfort working from blank canvases instead of relying on a mature design system and fixed briefs.

Nice to have

• Experience with Three.js or other 3D libraries.
• TypeScript experience.
• Experience designing developer-facing products.
