Weekend Localization & Interpreting Project Manager (Localization)

Location: Brazil (Remote); worldwide eligibility

A language services partner coordinating localization, translation, and interpreting projects for international clients through a global network of freelance language professionals.

What you will do

• Manage localization and interpreting projects from initial planning through final delivery.
• Evaluate costs, prepare budgets and quotations, and monitor project finances.
• Estimate resources, set deadlines, track time in Plunet, and maintain project status through completion.
• Coordinate communication with clients, colleagues, translators, and interpreters across multiple countries and cultures.
• Negotiate deadlines and rates with freelancers and resolve operational issues.
• Perform proofreading, final reviews, and other quality checks to ensure accurate and consistent deliverables.

Requirements

• Previous experience in project management, business administration, and customer service.
• Knowledge of localization and interpreting processes, particularly in a project management environment.
• Practical knowledge of CAT tools such as Smartcat and memoQ.
• Experience using translation management systems such as Trados.
• Advanced written and spoken English at native level or C1, plus fluency in at least one additional foreign language.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills, professionalism, politeness, and a client-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced international environment and communicate proactively with clients, colleagues, and freelancers.
• Full professional commitment during scheduled working hours is required; job stacking and conflicting concurrent employment are not permitted.
