Senior Manager of Professional Services

Location: Remote/Teleworker, with locations in Spring, Texas, or Durham, North Carolina, United States

Base salary: USD 140,000–321,000 annually in North Carolina and Texas; variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Lead multiple managers and individual contributors delivering engineering solutions and managing projects across several engineering disciplines.
• Manage headcount, deliverables, schedules, costs, resource allocation, timelines, budgets, and program roadmaps.
• Partner with program management, marketing, supply chain, technical leaders, and executives to communicate status, escalate issues, and guide strategic decisions.
• Manage outsourced partners and suppliers, including expectations for deliverables, quality, schedules, costs, and collaboration.
• Identify process improvement and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Hire, coach, evaluate, and develop direct reports while driving organization-wide performance standards.

Requirements

• First-level university degree or equivalent experience required; an advanced university degree is preferred.
• Typically 10 or more years of related work experience, including 5 or more years of people management experience.
• Advanced leadership skills in coaching, teambuilding, conflict resolution, and management.
• Advanced project management skills in time and risk management, resource prioritization, and project structuring.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced multitasking and prioritization abilities.
• Experience managing human capital across geographies to support workforce development and achieve results.
• Advanced communication skills for written, verbal, and presentation audiences; mastery of English and the local language.
• Superior business acumen, technical knowledge, and industry experience in one or more engineering, technology, or product domains.
• Advanced relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting, and a strong understanding of company policies and processes.
