Infrastructure Service Owner

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Own the day-to-day performance and continuous improvement of assigned infrastructure services.
• Coordinate with engineering, architecture, operations, and business stakeholders to support reliable, scalable, and cost-effective service delivery.
• Plan and forecast enterprise infrastructure capacity while analyzing utilization, consumption, demand, growth trends, and constraints.
• Manage enterprise technology services, platforms, and infrastructure programs.
• Gather requirements, manage stakeholders, govern services, and develop roadmaps.
• Translate technical capacity information into clear business and executive recommendations and drive outcomes in a matrixed environment without direct authority.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience required; the role description specifies 7+ years in Infrastructure Service Management, Capacity Management, Infrastructure Operations, Technical Product Management, Technical Program Management, or related areas.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, business administration, or equivalent education and professional experience.
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure capacity planning and forecasting.
• Strong understanding of compute, virtualization, storage, networking, data center, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure technologies.
• Experience managing enterprise technology services, platforms, or infrastructure programs.
• Strong requirements gathering, stakeholder management, service governance, and roadmap development skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence decisions and drive outcomes in a matrixed enterprise environment without direct authority.

Nice to have

• Experience as an Infrastructure Capacity Manager, Technical Product Owner, or Infrastructure Service Delivery Manager.
• ITIL Capacity and Performance Management experience; ITIL Foundation or higher certification.
• Agile, Scrum, Product Owner, or Business Analysis experience or certification.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, Power BI, or comparable platforms.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, VMware, or hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Cloud capacity planning, FinOps, cloud cost optimization, infrastructure monitoring, observability, capacity analytics, or performance-management experience.
• Data center planning, hardware lifecycle management, technology debt, EOL/EOS management, or infrastructure modernization experience.
• Experience supporting high-growth, AI/ML, or data-intensive workloads.
