VP, Global Fulfillment & Logistics (Medical Devices)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; preference for candidates in the Eastern Time Zone. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.

Starting base pay: $225,000–$295,000 annually, excluding bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead global freight, transportation, warehousing, distribution, inventory planning, and fulfillment strategies across air, sea, and land.
• Optimize landed cost, inventory carrying cost, service levels, inventory turns, in-stock rates, peak capacity, and average days on hand.
• Manage 3PL, carrier, and international distributor relationships; negotiate contracts and enforce service-level agreements.
• Oversee operating budgets, capital plans, purchasing controls, MRO procurement, and material inventory reporting.
• Establish and expand international planning and distribution processes, including relationships with international distributors.
• Lead headcount planning, training, systems, performance management, and annual team goals for distributed supply chain teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or a related technical field.
• 15 years of progressive leadership experience in global supply chain, logistics, or fulfillment within a medical device market exceeding $500M, including 8 years in senior management leading these teams.
• Expertise in multi-region distribution centers, international trade and customs, high-volume inventory, production-cycle material planning, and procurement support for new products.
• Strong financial acumen, including cost modeling, P&L ownership, annual resource and material budgeting, and data-driven prioritization.
• Extensive ERP knowledge across planning, scheduling, purchasing, and inventory control.
• cGMP experience and strong knowledge of QSR/GMP principles, documentation, policies, procedures, protocols, work instructions, and inspection requirements.
• Ability to lead distributed teams across the US, EMEA, and Asia, collaborate across functions, communicate technical information and timelines, and drive quality and productivity improvements.
