Logistics & Demand Planning Director (Life Sciences)

Location: 100% remote from anywhere in the U.S. In-person office hubs are available in Boston, New York, and Paris.

Salary: $150,000–$170,000 base salary annually, plus equity, PTO, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Own unconstrained demand planning for Life Sciences projects and Diagnostics products, integrating CRM, manufacturing, and cross-functional inputs.
• Lead demand reviews, consensus alignment, forecast improvement, and global capacity modeling across distribution centers, 3PLs, packaging sites, and transportation lanes.
• Govern S&OP by reconciling demand with constrained supply and aligning inventory, capacity, financial targets, and executive decisions.
• Set inventory, safety stock, replenishment, transfer, transportation, and warehousing strategies for clinical and commercial materials.
• Improve master data, planning parameters, forecasting systems, dashboards, KPIs, advanced analytics, AI-enabled forecasting, and digital planning tools.
• Manage cross-functional and external partnerships while leading risk planning for disruptions, temperature excursions, geopolitical risks, regulatory changes, and market volatility.

Requirements

• 10–15+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device supply chain, including demand planning, capacity planning, or logistics.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of GxP/GDP, clinical supply chains, and regulated distribution networks.
• Demonstrated leadership of S&OP processes.
• Proficiency with advanced forecasting tools, ERP/APS systems, and analytics platforms.
• Strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, operational discipline, continuous improvement, and the ability to navigate ambiguity and volatility.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and executive-level influencing skills.
