Supply Chain Lead (Hardware): Leading the end-to-end supply chain for connected senior-care sensors across manufacturing, logistics, inventory, quality, and refurbishment with an accent on scaling hardware operations across five-country manufacturing networks. Focus on building a supply chain team, negotiating with contract manufacturers, reducing unit cost, and scaling circular refurbishment while supporting B2B deployments and consumer launches.

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 CAD base salary per year, with equity opportunity

Company

hirify.global is a senior-care technology company developing camera-free sensors that detect falls and track sleep, health, and wellness, shipping hardware to 24 countries.

What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end supply chain strategy across manufacturing partners in five countries, logistics in Canada and the US, inventory, working capital, quality, and refurbishment.
  • Define sourcing strategy, including partner allocation, commercial terms, and second sources for critical components.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, cost, quality, lead times, and capacity.
  • Build a refurbishment and circularity program for repairing, regrading, and redeploying returned sensors at scale.
  • Plan supply for B2B deployments and consumer orders, while improving inventory accuracy and working capital management.
  • Build, hire, and lead the supply chain team in collaboration with the CCO, engineering, finance, and manufacturing partners.

Requirements

  • Experience scaling a hardware supply chain, preferably in connected hardware, electronics, or medical devices, ideally through a major increase in volume.
  • Experience leading supply chain or operations and owning the function rather than only advising on it.
  • Experience building or scaling a refurbishment, repair, or circularity program and understanding its economics.
  • Experience negotiating with contract manufacturers across borders, including in Asia.
  • Experience building and leading a team rather than only inheriting one.
  • Ability to make decisions with incomplete data and explain them clearly to finance and sales.

Culture & Benefits

  • Hybrid work in Toronto or Waterloo, with remote work available for people who work best remotely.
  • Direct access to the leadership team and meaningful ownership in a growing company.
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits, plus a sensor for parents.
  • Fair base pay with an opportunity for equity; impact influences pay and career progression.
  • Mission-driven work focused on helping keep older adults safe and independent.
  • The role is expected to grow into leading Operations across manufacturing, logistics, and service.

Hiring process

  • Typically includes an initial interview, a short case, and a final in-person interview with the CEO and team members; the process may be adjusted depending on the role.
  • AI tools are used in hiring, alongside human input and manual review.
