FP&A Lead (SaaS)

Location: Remote in the UK

Nodes & Links is an AI-first SaaS company developing software to organize and prioritize work on very large projects such as nuclear plants and data centers. The company is a deep-tech startup serving global clients including Intel, AECOM, and BAM.

What you will do

• Own the Group budget, reforecasts, long-term plan, and three-statement financial model.
• Produce monthly performance reporting covering actuals versus budget, KPIs, and cash flow.
• Prepare Board and investor reporting and provide scenario analysis and commercial modelling.
• Reconcile Salesforce data with reported ARR and improve FP&A and reporting processes through automation.
• Review month-end close and consolidation across UK, US, and Cypriot entities, including foreign currency translation, intercompany reconciliations, and eliminations.
• Support statutory accounts, annual audit, transfer pricing, group payroll, and contractor payments.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Substantial FP&A experience, including building a driver-based three-statement model from scratch.
• Experience owning a full budget cycle with department heads and challenging assumptions.
• Advanced financial modelling and Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of cash flow and business-driving KPIs.
• Confidence challenging senior stakeholders and providing clear commercial insight.
• Experience working in a multi-entity group structure with multiple currencies.
• Willingness to embrace AI.

Nice to have

• SaaS experience and fluency in subscription metrics including ARR, churn, and net revenue retention.
• Experience at Series B or a similar scale where the financial model had to be built rather than inherited.
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM data.
