Sr Strategy & Analytics Analyst (Digital Assets)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; hybrid schedule. Other locations include Chicago, IL. The role may require up to 15–20% travel for conferences and events.

Annual base salary: $106,790–$133,488.

What you will do

• Act as the digital-assets subject matter expert for a crypto retail brokerage, stablecoin funding for a U.S. broker-dealer, and tokenized equities and other tokenized assets.
• Define business requirements, operating processes, and client workflows for technical product delivery.
• Help establish crypto-brokerage operations covering onboarding, custody, liquidity, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Research digital-asset market structure, regulation, competitors, and emerging tokenization products; turn findings into recommendations and executive briefings.
• Evaluate and work with vendors, custodians, liquidity providers, technology partners, outside counsel, Legal, and Compliance.
• Respond to client and prospect questions and represent Apex at industry conferences and events as needed.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in digital assets, capital markets, or fintech, including hands-on experience launching or operating a crypto brokerage or exchange, stablecoin payments or funding, or tokenized securities.
• Working knowledge of digital assets, stablecoins, and tokenization, including wallets, custody, and on/off-ramps; no ramp-up on the basics.
• Experience writing requirements and process documentation for technical products.
• Experience working with vendors and legal counsel.
• Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to distill complex regulatory and technical topics into clear recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations.
• Ability to work through ambiguity, run several workstreams at once, and move between strategy and execution.
• Credible, polished external presence with clients, vendors, regulators, and conference audiences.

Nice to have

• Broker-dealer experience involving FINRA/SEC, custody, net capital, or settlement.
• Experience at a crypto-native firm or a traditional firm’s digital-assets group.
• Familiarity with smart contracts or blockchain infrastructure.
