Technology Support Specialist

Location: New York, New York office; daily schedule from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm EST

Salary: $67,400–$107,825 per year for positions in New York, New York

What you will do

• Provide basic end-user support for computer and audiovisual hardware and some software-related issues.
• Log requests, issues, resolutions, equipment locations, and allocations.
• Diagnose hardware errors, perform maintenance and recovery procedures, and escalate critical issues to local or Firm IT teams.
• Unpack, install, test, upgrade, and perform preventive maintenance on office equipment.
• Support audiovisual systems, video conferencing, meetings, and software pilots and rollouts.
• Coordinate with third-party maintenance personnel when hardware issues cannot be resolved in-house.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in a related field and at least one year of experience in hardware and basic software support at a professional services organization, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Strong customer service, technical, and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of office productivity software, the Microsoft operating system, and/or audiovisual technologies.
