Manager – Operating Model Transformation and Strategy (Finance Transformation)

What you will do

• Lead Finance Transformation and Global Business Services engagements from proposals, workshops, and assessments through transition, execution, and steady-state operations.
• Design and implement target operating models across Finance, HR, IT, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Customer Operations, including process architecture, governance, service catalogs, organization structures, and captive, outsourced, or hybrid delivery models.
• Assess organizational and process maturity and develop transformation roadmaps aligned with enterprise strategy, value levers, and business outcomes.
• Lead large-scale Finance transformation programs involving organization design, automation, analytics, AI, RPA, intelligent workflows, data platforms, and advanced reporting.
• Drive transitions, migrations, operational readiness, change management, knowledge transfer, risk mitigation, stakeholder alignment, and performance management.
• Direct cross-functional consulting teams, support practice growth and go-to-market efforts, manage delivery quality and timelines, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Five or more years of progressive experience in Finance Transformation and/or Global Business Services within management consulting, including leadership in operating model and process transformation.
• Expertise advising global organizations on Finance processes including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Financial Reporting, and Internal Audit.
• Expertise in GBS, shared services, outsourcing, and target operating model design, including BPO selection, contracting, transition, and performance management.
• Knowledge of Finance systems, ERP tools, AI, and FP&A tools.
• Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder transformations across captive and outsourced environments.
• Expert-level Power BI proficiency and strong working knowledge of Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, and similar analytics tools.
• Advanced project and program management capabilities covering planning, risk management, executive reporting, and governance.
• Experience designing data, reporting, and chart-of-accounts structures; strong executive presence; excellent oral and written communication; and the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable recommendations.
• Ability to build senior client relationships, support sales and proposal efforts, and influence strategic decision-making.

Nice to have

• CPA, CFA, PMP, or equivalent certification.
• Experience in Healthcare, Financial Services, Private Equity, Telecom, or Technology.
• Experience working with Private Equity companies and portfolio companies.
• Big Four experience.
• Experience managing offshore resources.
