Project Manager - Steam Turbine & Generator Projects

Location: Orlando, Florida, United States; hybrid remote/office. Projects are delivered across North America and require 15% travel.

What you will do

• Lead complex power plant equipment upgrade projects from kickoff through installation and final customer acceptance.
• Coordinate communication with engineering, manufacturing, field service, customers, and project partners.
• Manage project updates, design reviews, factory testing, and witness points.
• Develop and execute quality and risk management plans.
• Implement Zero-Harm directives and oversee project safety performance.
• Control project financials, emergent contract issues, and change orders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or a higher degree.
• 2–5 years of customer relationship management experience and previous project management experience delivering large, complex, high-value projects.
• Experience level may be adjusted upward or downward based on the candidate’s background.
• PMP or IPMA certification, or successful completion of IPMA certification within three years of starting.
• Proficient understanding of the design, installation, and operational complexities of steam turbines, generators, gas turbines, and auxiliary systems.
• Must be able to gain unescorted access to nuclear power plants.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
