Senior Energy Services Project Manager

Location: Ashland, Virginia, United States; onsite Monday through Thursday with the option to choose the work location on Fridays.

Annual base salary: $97,406.66–$156,200.00.

What you will do

• Manage project financials, cash flow, forecasts, expenses, collections support, backlog reviews, and cost reconciliation.
• Lead project administration, schedules, documentation, compliance, safety guidelines, scope validation, and construction contract risk mitigation.
• Maintain customer satisfaction, investigate concerns, implement corrective actions, and communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders.
• Review contract documents, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans.
• Qualify and manage subcontractors, oversee RFQs, award subcontracts, and monitor subcontractor execution.
• Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, sales, and estimating teams on schedules, specifications, submittals, change orders, and project progress.

Requirements

• Combination of a degree or 7–10 years of experience in HVAC/BAS Controls and project management.
• Experience leading teams with different technical skill levels.
• Ability to plan resources and manpower efficiently.
• Familiarity with executing as a third-tier contractor.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations or preventable collisions in the previous three years.

Nice to have

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Automation, or Construction Project Management.
• Experience working with building owners.
