2026 IT Support Intern

Location: Southfield, Michigan, United States; principally in-person workplace model. The role includes 10% travel.

Salary: $22.00–$25.00 per hour; the stated range applies to roles in Colorado, Illinois, Ohio, and Massachusetts.

What you will do

• Provide general technical support by telephone and in person.
• Receive, configure, and deploy hardware.
• Participate in multiple technology team projects.
• Track and manage IT assets on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

• Pursue a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related undergraduate program, with career aspirations in Information Technology.
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Have knowledge of Microsoft Desktop Operating System, specifically Windows 11.
• Have knowledge of network connectivity.
• Have knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Outlook, and Teams.
• Be able to work in the principally in-person model and travel 10%.
• Frequently remain in a stationary or sitting position.
• Be able to lift at least 40 lbs.; specific duties may require additional lifting to move, transport, position, and install equipment.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Working knowledge of PC hardware.
