What you will do

• Maintain the integrity, stability, and high availability of enterprise storage networks and backup infrastructure supporting mission-critical financial applications.
• Provision, configure, maintain, upgrade, and patch storage and backup systems.
• Monitor capacity and performance, manage resources, and perform environment optimization and tuning.
• Participate in projects to evaluate, design, build, test, and implement new storage and backup solutions.
• Handle high-severity incidents, advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, root-cause analysis, and on-call rotations.
• Apply change-control policies and collaborate with clients and senior engineers while maintaining technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, plus 3–5+ years of relevant enterprise storage and backup administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise storage hardware platforms such as Hitachi and Dell.
• Familiarity with VMware/ESX virtualized environments.
• Expert-level experience with Commvault and Cohesity, including independent handling of high-severity issues and backup strategy guidance.
• Experience with storage provisioning, configuration, firmware upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation and scripting with Ansible, Python, and PowerShell.
• Understanding of change-management frameworks, strong communication and documentation skills, and the ability to support mission-critical business operations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Grafana, Splunk, or Dynatrace.
• Networking knowledge relevant to storage architectures, including NFS, SMB, Fibre Channel, and iSCSI.
• Experience in regulated, banking, or financial-sector environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise security compliance, vulnerability remediation, and hardening standards.
