HR Business Partner

Location: Remote in Connecticut and other listed US states; must be located in the Eastern or Central time zone.

Salary: $68,500–$88,000 per year.

What you will do

• Initiate organizational changes in Workday and VantagePoint.
• Provide first-level support for group and department leaders, respond to employee inquiries, develop job descriptions, and align career-planning tools.
• Guide managers and employees on leave of absence processes and coordinate with the Benefits Team.
• Support the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, check-ins, pulse surveys, and exit processes.
• Support performance feedback, coach line managers, and develop engagement and employee-development programs.
• Maintain compliance with labor laws, company policies, and ADA accommodations; participate in special projects and committees.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Hands-on experience with an HRIS; Workday experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Illinois state law and compliance.
• Must be located in the Eastern or Central time zone.
