Sr. Training Specialist (Manufacturing Technical Training)

Location: Onsite in Bradenton, Florida, United States, with travel to the Frontline Communications facility in Clearwater, Florida.

Salary: $73,200–$117,800 per year.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deliver technical-manufacturing curricula, courses, training materials, online modules, and instructor-led training.
• Assess organizational training needs and partner with production leaders to develop programs addressing those needs.
• Conduct on-the-job training, new-hire orientation, on-demand training, and training events.
• Develop and publish content in the corporate LMS, knowledge repository, and Training Center intranet; track learning and maintain records.
• Evaluate, negotiate, recommend, and coordinate external training courses, vendors, courseware, and delivery with internal stakeholders.
• Support the setup of a new training center, documentation standards, budgets, corporate development initiatives, and cross-business-unit collaboration.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Seven or more years of experience in Training and Development, Management, or Organization Development.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Training, Education, or Human Resources, or equivalent experience in instructional and program design.
• Knowledge and application of adult learning theories.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong interpersonal skills, innovative thinking, and a focus on results and quality.
• Experience with program design, curriculum writing, and managing medium to complex projects within tight timelines.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with an LMS; Workday experience preferred.
• Experience creating training videos and writing video scripts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and InDesign.
