Mid-Level Technical Training Instructor (Aerospace)

Location: Wichita, Kansas, United States

Salary: $68,650–$105,300 annual base pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3), depending on experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations.

What you will do

• Design and deliver technical training sessions, product demonstrations, onboarding classes, and certification programs.
• Coach new employees through aircraft component assembly processes and support workforce development.
• Assess training needs with partner departments and create customized learning experiences.
• Design, update, and continuously improve lesson plans and course content for new products and technologies.
• Collaborate with Human Resources and other teams to keep training strategies relevant, compliant, and aligned with company goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with sheet metal and/or composite materials, with a strong background in training, coaching, or mentoring.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Comfort using eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate or Adobe Captivate.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels.
• Strong organization, self-motivation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Nice to have

• Subject matter expertise in instructional design, such as ADDIE, and experience motivating and engaging learners.
• Familiarity with multimedia tools for video and audio content creation, such as Camtasia, Adobe Premiere, or Audition.
