Training Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Burlington, Washington, USA; on-site manufacturing role. The selected candidate must be a US Person and must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, qualifying temporary resident, refugee, or asylee.

Salary: $95,169–$163,148 annual salary.

What you will do

• Conduct training needs assessments, identify skill gaps, and maintain training documentation, SOPs, and certification processes.
• Develop and implement training programs for manufacturing, technical, and support functions in partnership with department leaders.
• Direct site training activities covering regulatory, safety, quality, and technical requirements.
• Administer the Learning Management System and monitor training compliance, records, and certification documentation.
• Develop and maintain employee onboarding covering safety, quality, operational, and customer requirements.
• Lead initiatives supporting continuous learning, employee development, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
• At least 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, training, workforce development, quality, operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience developing, implementing, or coordinating training programs, qualification processes, or employee development initiatives.
• Experience administering or using a Learning Management System and maintaining training records and compliance documentation.
• Experience developing training materials, SOPs, work instructions, or competency assessments.
• Experience partnering with leaders across multiple departments to identify skill gaps and support workforce development.
• Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and training management systems.
• Strong project planning, facilitation, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and employee training skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and other Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• US Person status required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous experience with Absorb LMS.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma certification.
