Staff Software Engineer, Analytics and Reporting Solutions (AI)

What you will do

• Design, build, and evolve analytics, reporting, and AI-driven data intelligence capabilities for large-scale workloads.
• Architect and operate scalable, highly available, secure, and maintainable backend services.
• Lead technical direction, architectural decisions, and end-to-end delivery of critical services and initiatives.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to define requirements and align platform direction.
• Mentor engineers, establish engineering standards, and improve practices through reviews, documentation, automation, and tooling.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, observability, and security.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 9+ years of professional software development experience, including leading the design and delivery of complex software systems.
• Experience with Agile development and effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Deep experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems and microservice architectures at scale.
• Ability to drive architectural decisions, influence technical direction, and lead initiatives across teams.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud-native technologies, and public cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python, Go, or similar modern programming languages.
• Experience with validation frameworks, automated testing strategies, and data quality controls for software and data products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
