Associate Quality Analyst (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; a dedicated, secure work area and high-speed internet are required.

Base compensation: $55,000–$75,000 per year.

What you will do

• Create and execute SQL queries and backend validation tests to verify processing, business rules, data integrity, and application enhancements.
• Perform ETL validation and database functionality testing using documented INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE procedures.
• Create, adapt, maintain, and execute functional, integration, regression, and automated test cases.
• Analyze application behavior, test results, database output, and system logs to identify defects and support production incident analysis.
• Communicate testing progress, defects, quality metrics, and results while supporting process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of QA experience in software quality assurance and automated testing, including functional, integration, and regression testing in an Agile/Scrum environment; internships, CPT programs, contract roles, or equivalent hands-on experience are acceptable.
• Hands-on experience with at least one automated testing framework, such as Selenium or TestComplete.
• Working knowledge of SQL, including SELECT statements, WHERE clauses, JOINs, and basic subqueries, plus experience with Oracle or SQL Server.
• Experience with ETL applications, backend data validation, DML operations, data consistency verification, and test cases based on business requirements.
• Working knowledge of Git, software testing methodologies, and backend application testing principles.
• Ability to identify, document, and report defects with clear descriptions and reproduction steps; familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or a similar issue-tracking tool.
• Hands-on experience with at least one AI tool for code generation, documentation, or technical learning; ability to use AI-assisted capabilities for test optimization and automation improvements, while validating AI output through human review before production use.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to perform the duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice to have

• Agile/Scrum and SAFe experience, plus knowledge of Agile SDLC principles and terminology.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent formal QA training.
• US healthcare domain knowledge, especially claims processing, state variations, or prior authorization workflows.
• Experience with HIPAA and healthcare data privacy compliance, production support, and incident response.
• Familiarity with healthcare data.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, Java, or .NET fundamentals for reading basic automation scripts.
