QA Test Analyst (Fintech)

Location: New York City, New York, USA; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in-office

What you will do

• Execute quality control tests and analyses to verify software against functional, regulatory, and client requirements.
• Create and manage test data files for program logic, system flow, and edge-case validation.
• Plan, complete, and document testing phases with development and project teams.
• Identify, track, and support resolution of software defects.
• Maintain quality standards, procedures, and audit activities while improving QA workflows.
• Work with automated testing frameworks and real-time financial systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–2 years of software quality assurance or testing experience, including internships or academic projects.
• Proficiency or solid understanding of Python and experience with pytest for automated testing.
• Familiarity with macOS or Linux, client-server architecture, network protocols, and basic system administration.
• Understanding of AWS or similar cloud environments, Git, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with test automation frameworks, Allure, Docker, or Podman.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and testing tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent.
